The Cortado MkIII, a robust and adaptable contact microphone, unveils the unheard sounds concealed within solid objects. Its sensor and phantom-powered preamp circuit are housed in durable steel casings. Suitable for sound design, music recording, and venue sound reinforcement, the sensor head attaches effortlessly to various surfaces using included putty, a clamp, or tape. A built-in pad reduces sensitivity when recording extremely loud sources, while the switchable Bass Boost feature enhances low-end response for projects requiring maximum rumble and boom.
